Tim Falvey

Embracing my roots as a humble street musician who has traveled throughout the United States and into Europe as a soloist, I have transplanted myself in New York City to blossom my craft. Expanding on almost 10 years of organic musical toil and cultivation with dozens of collaborators, I've brought my progress and ideas to NYC's fertile artistic soil. Fundamentally, Big Iron Echoes will be a polished rock and roll band that activates and proliferates music which sprouted from simple poetry into solo folk songs. At its optimum, Big Iron Echoes will establish a palatable standard for "orchestral rock music" in mainstream performance. To that end, I've initiated dialogue with NYC dancers, instrumentalists, choreographers, composers, curators, visual artists, and live producers about a bold 5-year vision: to blossom my once-simplistic poetry into a comprehensive, modular, and mobile rock and roll concept integrated with mainstay symphony orchestras, operas, and ballet companies in major cities throughout the world.
